Most webbing is woven and then dyed to a color, called Piece Dyed. Solution Dyed webbing has the dye mixed in with the yarns before being woven,<br \/>\nand so the color is present throughout the web, not just on the outside. The benefit is better color consistency from roll to roll, lower reflectivity in the IR spectrum, no color change with<br \/>\nabrasion, and better resistance to sunlight fading.
